About Agile Fundamentals with Scrum and Kanban (ICP)
To succeed with agile approaches, teams, and organizations should focus first on "being agile" as a foundation for success in "doing agile." ICAgile's fundamental learning outcomes delve into key concepts such as adaptive planning, value-driven development, team collaboration, and frequent feedback for continuous improvement. They also cover the history of the agile movement, the Agile Manifesto, the Agile Principles, and some widely applied frameworks and practices. Course participants come away with a solid understanding of core concepts as they prepare to embark on their agile journey.
About Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF)
The aim of this workshop is not to simply review dozens of practices and buzzwords that will be well-known (to some participants). Instead, the goal is to take a higher perspective and achieve a foundational understanding of how all these tools fit into the larger picture of the innovative, evolving company as a family of business models with individual business life cycles. It is the perfect starting point for organizations aiming to achieve a coherent approach to a startup and scaleup culture within a corporate environment, with an equal emphasis on both disruptive and sustaining innovation.

You will see that the basic unit for innovation is the strategic business model. You will understand how each business model evolves from exploration and effectiveness to exploitation and efficiency. And you will learn how managers, leaders, designers, and developers need to organize their work differently to create an organization that can reinvent itself continuously and that can scale tremendously.
Agile Fundamentals with Scrum and Kanban (ICP) helps to:
  • Become acquainted with the Agile approach not as a set of practices but as a way of thinking
  • Get an idea of the approach through actual examples of Agile implementation
  • Systematise knowledge of the basic principles of Agile software development
  • Learn to apply the most popular methods of Agile software development: Kanban and Scrum
  • Learn to create an environment for successful team interaction
  • Implement various practices in your projects
  • Understand potential development paths in different areas of Agile
  • Gain knowledge and skills which allow you to consciously manage the process and adapt it to a specific project
Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF) helps to:
  • How can we have something like "a startup culture" in our company?
  • How can we get new products to become fast-growing scaleups?
  • How do we reorganize ourselves for optimal execution and innovation?
Agile Fundamentals with Scrum and Kanban training is useful for
  • Active or potential leaders of Agile teams;
  • Project Managers;
  • Scrum masters;
  • Active or potential Agile coaches;
  • Line Managers;
  • To all those involved in the process: engineers, testers, analysts, designers and others involved in the software development process.
Business Agility Foundations (ICP-BAF) training is useful if
  • You are a coach, consultant, team manager, business leader, product designer, product developer, product manager, project manager, human resource manager.
  • You want to achieve a foundational understanding of how innovation tools fit into the larger picture of your business life cycles.
  • Your company aims to achieve a coherent approach to a startup and scaleup culture.
This is a foundational workshop, meaning that no knowledge or certifications of lean thinking, business agility or innovation are required. This is not an expert-level course. However, having some experience with new product development and business management (in any role) will make attendance easier.
