About the training
The course focuses primarily on the mindset and role of an agile team facilitator while also providing group facilitation tools and techniques for effectively designing meetings and workshops that engage the entire audience and drive towards agreed-upon outcomes. Through obtaining this certification, course participants will develop an appreciation for the art of facilitation as the key to fostering collaboration and enabling self-organising teams. In addition, participants will build their facilitator toolkits and gain experience facilitating specific agile practices most relevant to their organisational context.
In this updated version, participants will explore AI-enhanced facilitation: how AI can help facilitators design sharper workshops, expand group thinking, support collective sensemaking, turn group input into clear decisions and actions, and sustain momentum beyond the session.
Participants learn to use AI as a facilitation amplifier while the facilitator remains responsible for human presence, neutrality, group dynamics, and the quality of the collaborative process.

At the end of the training, participants receive the ICAgile Certified Professional – Agile Team Facilitation (ICP-ATF) personal certificate which is recognized worldwide.

- Agile facilitator's way of thought; the role and functions of an Agile facilitator
- Promoting various Agile practices and strengthening teamwork
- Supporting a self-organised team
- Understanding how AI changes the facilitator’s preparation, awareness, and responsibility
Agile facilitation fundamentals
Understanding the facilitator's tools in the context of Agile teamwork:
- Working with various team practices
- Working with large and heterogeneous groups
- Knowing the tools and methods of facilitation of work meetings, group conversations and decisions
- Exploring AI-supported Facilitation design: choosing when to use AI for divergence, sensemaking, convergence, and when human facilitation must lead
