About the training
SCALE SCRUM WITH NEXUS. PASS THE SPS EXAM
The Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) training is a two-day training on scaling Scrum using the Nexus framework. During the training, participants will learn about new artefacts, framework events, the new role of the Nexus integration team and more than 50 scaling practices through hands-on exercises.

"We abstracted a framework for this scaling which we named Nexus, defined as a causal link between things, such as biological nervous systems." — Ken Schwaber

Over the course of two days, participants will simulate working on a large-scale product using the Nexus framework. The training is designed as a case study from beginning to end so that participants come together and work on a large-scale solution. As part of the experience, participants will implement more than 50 practices to reduce complexity and dependencies when scaling Scrum.

The training allows you to understand how to start, organise, build teams and manage a large project using Scrum.

As part of the SPS training, participants will learn what infrastructure, tools and techniques are required to scale Scrum for maximum value of the solution being created.

Through a large number of practical exercises, participants in the Scaled Professional Scrum training are fully engaged in the learning process, experiencing the challenges of developing large-scale software and finding solutions to recover and maintain further progress. At the end of the course, participants will be equipped with the tools to discover and solve problems in their daily work.

The training will be useful to all participants regardless of experience. However, for a better understanding it is advised:
  • to know the structure and principles of Scrum.
  • to have practical Scrum experience or relevant certifications (PSM I or PSPO I)
  • to be familiar with the Scrum Guide.
The training program is accredited by scrum.org.
At the end of the training, participants will gain access to the Scaled Professional Scrum (SPS) exam and two attempts to pass the exam.
